Nutritional precision.
A recipe parsed into ingredients and quantities. Sodium, protein, potassium and phosphorus calculated per serving from a documented demo nutrient table — missing values stay visible, never silently zeroed.
Enjoy your food. Respect your balance. Analyse, adapt, and keep enjoying what you love. Nutritional precision, sensory intelligence, and your dietitian always one tap away.
Your choice is honest and reversible. You can switch at any time.
"Enjoy your food. Respect your balance."
— NutriSherpa, working principleSix themes to understand what matters, and why. An original simplification — not a reproduction of any clinical leaflet. Tap each theme to open its card.
The handwritten values on the GDN leaflet (5–6 g salt, 1.5–2 L fluid, 120–150 g meat-fish-egg) must be confirmed with your dietitian before being entered into a personal plan. NutriSherpa v0.1 uses a clearly-labelled synthetic demonstration profile only.
NutriSherpa stands on three pillars from the Ajinomatrix Digital Food 2.0 stack — JRF for structured recipes, nutrient composition engines, and sensory intelligence (MP6 · FlavorGraph). The job of the app is to put them in your hands without noise.
A recipe parsed into ingredients and quantities. Sodium, protein, potassium and phosphorus calculated per serving from a documented demo nutrient table — missing values stay visible, never silently zeroed.
Substitutions are ranked for culinary pairing and preserved sensory character — umami, texture, familiarity — not only composition. Three strategies: Nutrition / Taste / Balanced.
Save, export JRF, log consumed meals to FMLog, and send a clear report to your dietitian at every stage of the workflow. The patient chooses; the clinician approves.
Managing kidney-related dietary restrictions? NutriSherpa complements AayuSense's wellness trajectory. The Aayu index is an experimental food-pattern indicator — it does not estimate renal risk, dialysis timing, or biological age, and it must never override a prescribed dietary restriction.
Clarity protects everyone. This is a demonstration prototype for dietitian-supervised exploration — not a clinical device, and not a replacement for your care team.
We approach the renal nutrition community as a technology partner — never as a clinical authority. Two invitations follow, each with an active destination.
The Groupe de Diététicien·ne·s en Néphrologie (GDN) is the Belgian professional group of 40+ dietitians specialising in kidney disease. They are the authors of the leaflet that inspired this build. NutriSherpa does not claim their endorsement; we point to their work with respect.
Clinics, hospitals, or digital-health programmes interested in a guided walkthrough and in co-shaping the roadmap: book a conversation. The current build is pre-clinical, intended for professional review and controlled usability testing.
Grace, our first beta tester, interacts with synthetic recipes and example constraints — not with her own medical restrictions. Patient-specific decision support will only be offered after professional validation, privacy review, and appropriate regulatory assessment under GDPR, EU MDR and related frameworks.
